In this day and age, gaming is becoming a profession that is growing larger and larger over the years. Some make thousands and sometimes even millions of dollars while some don't make even a dollar. Some rise up to the top, but some don't, so we're going to look at 3 Esports players that stand out in the top 15 highest paid Esports players.
Saahill Arora known as UNiVeRsE (Universe) in the gaming world has created whopping total earnings of $3,035,737.67 so far in his career. He ranks 9th overall for most money accumulated. He is best known for his Dota 2 gameplay, creating much of his earnings from Dota 2 tournaments. He is currently on the gaming team, Forward gaming, while his past teams include Team Dignitas, Evil Geniuses, Team Secret, and Fnatic. So far, he's delivered 6 first place finishes in Dota 2 tournaments, while the rests are a third place or farther finishes (He's never got a second place finish). He is one of the 8 players to play 1,000+ pro Dota 2 games with a single franchise and he often appears in Valve events (Valve is a company that produces video games and hosts gaming events).

Clinton Loomis also known as Fear has collected a total amount of $2,500,460.84. He ranks 12th on the list of most money made overall. Clinton has been widely regarded as one of the best North American Dota players for the past decade. And of course, he mainly plays Dota 2, creating much of his money from it. Unlike many other players, he was an original to the game series, beginning with the first Dota. During his time in Dota, he played on many teams such as the Browned potatoes, Online Kingdom, and compLexity Gaming. During Dota 2, he was on the teams Online Kingdom and Evil Geniuses where he played the role as coach for a few years. He is actively playing on J.Storm. Clinton has got 7 first place finishes and 3 third place finishes (He never got a second place finish).
As I said, some people make millions off of gaming like these people, but then some people can't even make a dollar. These people weren't exactly in the top 5, but they did make millions of dollars following their passion, playing video games.
